Synopsis: Maria is stuck in an enigmatic riddle. How will she break free?

   This film was shot in the Spring of 2004. Using a 16mm Arriflex camera and many lights, co-directors Brendan Raher, Tobias Wettstein, and Ben McDaniel created a short film that is both melodic and hypnotic. With the help of Vince Navarro and Aaron Yazbeck, this film was completed in one night of shooting.

   Many people helped out during this shoot. What makes Pick Up The Phone so memorable is that it is a true silent film, relying on only images to tell a story.  Choose your player below:
