Most practices will be held at Lake Merced after school from 3-5 p.m. On Saturdays, we will train from 8:30 a.m. until around 12:00 p.m.
Please do not schedule any event during the week of Easter Break (April 14th through April 23) for we will be having practices every day during that week. Missing practice during Easter Break is not acceptable and it will jeopardize your chance of racing in the Frosh 8.
We train to win the State Championships.
Every minute that we spend at practice is maximized. Thus it is imperative
for the rowers to always know when and where to be.
Here are the results the Freshmen 8 have had over the past 8 years:
1998 - Freshmen 8 - 3rd place (Bronze)
1999 - Freshmen 8 - 2nd place (Silver)
2000 - Freshmen 8 - 3rd place (Bronze)
2001 - Freshmen 8 - 5th place
2002 - Freshmen 8 - 2nd place (Silver)
2003 - Freshmen 8 - 1st place (Gold)
2004 - Freshmen 8 - 1st place (Gold)
2005 - Freshmen 8 - 2nd place (Silver)
2006 - Freshmen 8 - 4th place

The race is 2000 meters, but for those moments, you have the opportunity to do something that will last you a lifetime. You have the chance to walk away saying, I'm the best in the state of California.
Thanks again for visiting.
